This is a sweet cherry that matures 10-12 days before Rainier. This selection is productive, moderately precocious, and spreading in growth habit. The tree appears moderately resistant to bacterial canker. The fruit of this selection appears to be extremely tolerant to rain-induced fruit cracking. It also has good tolerance to brown rot. The fruit is a very attractive, large sized, and kidney shaped cherry with a yellow skin with blush red overtones and medium-long length stem. It has yellow flesh that is firm with excellent sweet flavour.

The fruit is a very attractive, large sized cherry with a kidney to flat-round shape, glossy dark wine-red skin colour, dark red-purple flesh and a medium-long length stem. The fruit are of medium firmness, with good flavour and have shown good resistance to brown rot and rain-induced cracking. The fruit releases from the stem easily with no bleeding of the juice and is recommended for stemless cherry sales.
